ABOUT US

Belvidere Manor was founded by Thomas Henry Duthie in 1834, and he built Belvidere House for his family in 1849.  His diaries state that he had his "first dinner in New House - good!"  Continuing in this culinary tradition, Caroline's bistro, named after Thomas' wife, offers a table d'hote menu each evening and guests can enjoy the ambiance of the old house, as well as the magnificent views of the lagoon from our veranda.  Chef Bjorn Sivertsen selects our fine local produce and all its seasonal variations and offers a choice of three for each course, changing on a daily basis.  Guests can choose to enjoy three, or only two courses, depending on their appetite.  Reservations are essential, and Caroline's is open each evening from 7pm.
